Man arrested for threatening to kill Prime Minister: Gujarat ATS action in UP's Badaun sent a threatening e-mail to PMO
Gujarat ATS arrested a young man from Badaun by raiding him. ATS took this action late on Saturday night. The youth is a resident of Adarsh Nagar Mohalla. The youth had threatened to kill the Prime Minister by mailing to the Prime Minister's Office (PMO). At present, he is being interrogated by keeping him at the SSP residence.
A two-member ATS from Ahmedabad in Gujarat reached Badaun via Delhi on Saturday night. Inspector BN Baghela had informed me about coming to the Civil Lines police station along with a sub-inspector. According to police sources, the ATS along with the local police raided Adarsh Nagar's locality around 10 pm and arrested Aman Saxena. Aman is the only son of his parents. The family members had already evicted him after seeing his behaviour, but he used to reach home at night. Caught it.
At that time, the ATS took the youth to the Civil Lines police station, where he was questioned for about an hour. It is being told that he had threatened to kill Prime Minister Narendra Modi by emailing the Prime Minister's Office. Three people are said to be involved in this, including a girl from Gujarat and a boy from Delhi. Seeing the gathering of media personnel at the Civil Lines police station, the ATS took the youth to the SSP residence. Now he is being interrogated there. Inspector Sahansarveer Singh told that ATS has come from Gujarat.
Locals told that two people came in plain clothes on Friday. Where have they installed CCTV cameras in the locality? People were questioned in this regard. It is feared that he was a policeman sent by the ATS.
The team reached the city at night as soon as Aman's location was traced through surveillance. Accused Aman Saxena was studying engineering some time ago at Rajarshi College, Bareilly. But he left his studies in between. For what purpose the accused threatened the PM, is being investigated. When information about the matter was taken from another member who came with the ATS Inspector, he told that the interrogation of the accused is going on. Can't tell anything now. Inspector Sahansarveer Singh of Civil Lines Police Station said that ATS has been caught in connection with the investigation of e-mail.
Aman Saxena, who has been caught by ATS, has been caught earlier in the case of laptop theft etc. Being a student at that time, the police recovered the laptop and released it. Apart from this, his activities have been continuously suspicious. The people of the locality say that they have not seen him for many years. No one knows when he comes and when he goes. Apart from this, his relatives have also published information about his eviction in a newspaper in the past.
