IPL 2025: Delhi Capitals are sure to be out of the playoffs, if they lose even one match

Delhi Capitals now need to win both their subsequent matches in order to maintain their playoff race in the Indian Premier League 2025. Unless Delhi Capitals achieve their objective to win, their elimination from the play-offs is guaranteed. Delhi Capitals were defeated comprehensively by 10 wickets in their Sunday league match against Gujarat Titans. After this, their challenge to qualify for the top 4 has become tougher ahead of them.

The top-4 teams qualify for the playoffs in IPL 2025. The team of Gujarat Titans has already secured their playoff chance with 18 points in 12 matches till now in the season. Punjab Kings and RCB, along with GT, have secured their playoff entry with 17-17 points in 12 matches as well. Now three teams have appeared to try their fortune for one more seat. For that purpose, the Delhi Capitals team, the Mumbai Indians team, and the Lucknow Supergiants team stand in line. Mumbai Indians still have to play two matches. If Mumbai wins both the matches, then it can break the playoff dream of Delhi Capitals and Lucknow Supergiants.
