Instagram launched special app; now there is no need for video editing

Instagram has a piece of good news for everyone especially if you are a content creator. Now, they have launched a new app for reel editing which is named 'Edits'. Till now you used to edit a reel or photo on Instagram itself but now you will be able to edit better in a different app. With Instagram's Edits app, you will get the option to edit many new creative tools and high-quality videos. Apart from this, there will be an option to improve AI, camera resolution, frame rate, etc. in Edits.

Instagram head Adam Mosseri announced the new Edits app in a post on Threads. This app is specially designed for users who are fond of making videos on their smartphones. This app claims to simplify this process by allowing to capture of high-quality footage and fast editing.

Features of Edits App

• No Watermark: It is able to export videos without a watermark, where the resolution can then be shared at 1080p on Instagram and other platforms.
• Draft Management: Users can manage all their drafts and videos from one spot through a new tab.
• Creative Editing Tools: Single-frame precision editing supported, camera settings for changing frame rate, resolution, and dynamic range. Flash and zoom controls are better in comparison with Instagram. 
• AI Animation and Green Screen: Users can change the background or add video overlays.
• Sound and Voice Effects: Enhancements to remove the noise and clearly bring out the best in the audio.
• Captions customizable: Videos include automatically generated captions that can be edited.

The Edits app goes beyond simple editing. This app lets you track the performance of videos through the Live Insights dashboard, which includes engagements broken down for followers and non-followers, skip rates, and more. It will help the creators plan their next video based on their audience's preferences.
