ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026: 17 Teams Finalized, Three More to Qualify From Asia-EAP
ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 Qualified Team: 17 teams have qualified for the 2026 ICC Men's T20 World Cup, to be hosted by India and Sri Lanka next year.

The names of the 17 teams that will qualify for the 2026 ICC Men's T20 World Cup have been finalized. Two new teams were recently added, Namibia and Zimbabwe. Namibia and Zimbabwe gained entry into the ICC Men's T20 World Cup Sub-Regional Africa Qualifiers by the ICC Men's T20 World Cup, which will be hosted by India and Sri Lanka next year. Namibia beat Tanzania in the semi-final, and Zimbabwe beat Kenya.
Twenty teams will participate in the 2026 ICC Men's T20 World Cup. The rest of the three teams will now qualify from the Asia-EAP Qualifier. India and Sri Lanka, as hosts, have already qualified directly, and Australia, Afghanistan, England, New Zealand, West Indies, South Africa, Bangladesh, Pakistan, the United States, Ireland, Canada, Italy, the Netherlands, Zimbabwe, and Namibia have also gained confirmed tickets.
The ICC Men's T20 World Cup Asia Pacific Regional Final will be played in Nepal, with nine teams participating. Only three of these nine teams will earn a berth for the 2026 World Cup. The UAE, Malaysia, Qatar, Japan, Nepal, Kuwait, Papua New Guinea, Oman, and Samoa will participate in this qualifier. The UAE, Malaysia, and Qatar are placed in Group A, Japan, Nepal, and Kuwait in Group B, and Papua New Guinea, Oman, and Samoa in Group C. The top two teams from each of the three groups will advance to the Super 6, where the top three teams will earn a ticket to the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026.
The 20 teams will be divided into four groups, each consisting of five teams, and two teams from each group will advance to the Super 8. Four teams from the Super 8 will advance to the semi-finals. The winning semi-finalists will advance to the final. Team India won the title in 2024 and will defend it this time around.
