Hyundai Motor India Limited on Monday announced that it has delivered the 1,100th unit of its Ioniq 5 in India to Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan. Shahrukh Khan is the brand ambassador of Hyundai in the country and has been associated with the South Korean brand since the Santro days two decades ago. The Bollywood star has been associated with the company for the last 25 years.

On this occasion, Shahrukh Khan said that I felt honoured to receive the all-electric SUV Hyundai IONIQ 5. This is my first EV ever and I'm glad it's from Hyundai.
The Hyundai Ioniq 5 available in India comes with a 72.6 kWh battery pack and has a claimed range of around 630 km. It can be charged from 10 per cent to 80 per cent in just 18 minutes using a 350 kW DC charger. The Ioniq 5 EV offers a peak torque output of 214 bhp and 350 Nm. Hyundai Ioniq 5 is priced at Rs 46 lakh (ex-showroom).
Shahrukh Khan comes in the list of richest actors around the world. Talking about his car collection, he has a Bentley Continental GT, Rolls Royce Phantom Mercedes-Benz S-Class, Audi A6 and Range Rover Vogue. He also has a Hyundai Creta.
