HMD Global is also entering the wearables market, and the company has launched two new smartwatches, namely the HMD Watch X1 and the HMD Watch P1. The HMD Watch X1 comes with a circular dial and a 1.43-inch AMOLED display. The smartwatch is claimed to have a battery life of five days on a single charge. The HMD Watch P1, on the other hand, comes with a rectangular dial and a larger 1.83-inch LCD display. The smartwatch is claimed to have a battery life of four days on a single charge. The HMD Watch X1 is IP68 rated, whereas the HMD Watch P1 is IP67 rated. Both smartwatches have over 700 activity modes, remote health tracking, and ICE call assistance. They also support Bluetooth calling, allowing users to make and receive calls directly from the watch without their smartphone.

HMD Global has not yet revealed pricing and availability details for the HMD Watch X1 and HMD Watch P1. The Watch X1 was released in Gray Green, Black, Gray Metallic, and Silver Leather color options, while the HMD Watch P1 is available in Black and Silver.

The HMD Watch X1 features a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a 466x466 pixel resolution and 600 nits of brightness. The circular display supports Always-On Display. It has an IP68 rating, and users can pair it with a smartphone over Bluetooth using the HMD Watch app. When connected to a handset, it offers Bluetooth calling, allowing users to make and receive calls without removing their phone.

For health and fitness tracking, the HMD Watch X1 includes an accelerometer, heart rate sensor, and SpO2 sensor. It tracks steps, calories, sleep, stress, menstrual cycles, and offers breathing exercises. The watch has up to 20 customizable activity slots, which can be selected from over 700 in the app. Additional features include ICE Call, notification alerts, sedentary and water drinking reminders, weather updates, camera and music controls, and a wake gesture.

Powered by a lithium-polymer battery, the HMD Watch X1 offers up to five days of battery life with AOD disabled. The smartwatch can be charged with a magnetic charger. The smartwatch measures 46.5x46.5x11mm and has a 22mm strap. It weighs approximately 65.5g.

The HMD Watch P1 features a 1.83-inch HD display with a resolution of 240x284 pixels and a brightness of 550 nits. It is IP67 rated and supports phone calls via a connected smartphone. Sensor options are similar to the Watch X1. It also supports complete health tracking, including heart rate, steps, calories, sleep, stress, and SpO2 monitoring. It is also compatible with the HMD Watch app.

The HMD Watch P1 supports a sports mode, which includes up to 15 customizable activities on the watch, which can be selected from over 700 activity modes available on the app. Additional functions include notification alerts, alarms with vibration, a timer, a stopwatch, menstrual cycle tracking, and a sedentary reminder.

It uses a lithium-polymer battery that is claimed to last up to four days on a single charge. The wearable comes with a magnetic charger. It measures 45.5x 37.9x 11.2mm, weighs 40g, and has a 22mm strap.
