Gujarat's table tennis player Mitul Vyas is mentally strong. His recent achievement also proves this. He won first place in the consolation category of the World Veteran Table Tennis Championship in Oman and became the World Champion. Mitul was diagnosed with cancer 6 years ago. Doctors advised surgery. After a long surgery, the doctor told Mitul's wife that her husband would live only for 72 hours. His left hand will not even rise up. However, Mitul gave some indications during the surgery itself that he wanted to make a comeback, and it happened. I started playing table tennis within 6 months of the surgery. I had lost 40 kilos due to cancer and chemotherapy. I could not move, so I used to play table tennis only as exercise. Participated in the tournament for the first time after 3 years. Achieved many achievements while becoming a world champion.
He also made a record for the fastest shot by defeating foreign players. Foreign players did not go beyond 55 km and my first shot was 74 km. I believe that no one can defeat you until you give up yourself. I compete with myself every day. I give time for sports from 5 am to 9.30 am. I am a graphic designer, so after that, I focus on my regular work.
