Google CEO: Sundar Pichai may resign, pressure is building after the failure of Gemini AI

Google and Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai may resign from his post. This is being said because, after the failure of Google's chat tools Bard and Gemini and its controversy, pressure is being put on him to step down. Google may have introduced Gemini to compete with ChatGPT but it has created a new controversy. If indeed Sundar Pichai resigns then Gemini will be responsible for it.

Gemini's AI image generation tool created inaccurate images of some historical objects. Apart from this, it also made some racist pictures which caused a lot of uproar and Elon Musk called Gemini a racist. After this action of Gemini, the image generation feature was removed for some time. Following the embarrassment caused by Gemini, Pichai addressed his employees and called it "completely unacceptable". Google-parent Alphabet's stock also fell amid the controversy.

Google has been in controversies since the launch of Bard and Gemini. Google first shared a video which was said to be made by Gemini, whereas Gemini did not make that video. In such a situation, experts say that if a startup like OpenAI or SpaceX makes such mistakes, it can be forgiven, but such mistakes cannot be expected from an old and established company like Google.
