Neeraj Narwal, Dabang Delhi defenders shine as they rally from behind post half-time to defeat Telugu Titans 33-29

Jaipur, September 18, 2025 – Dabang Delhi K.C. showcased their resilience in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) Season 12, securing a thrilling 33-29 victory over Telugu Titans at Jaipur’s SMS Indoor Stadium on Wednesday. Trailing by five points at halftime, Delhi staged a remarkable comeback, driven by Neeraj Narwal’s nine-point performance and stellar defensive efforts from Saurabh Nandal and Fazel Atrachali, both earning High Fives.

The match began with Telugu Titans asserting early dominance. Vijay Malik opened the scoring with a successful raid, followed by Shubham Shinde’s solid tackle, giving the Titans a 2-0 lead. They continued their momentum, with Bharat adding a raid point and a tackle that sent Delhi’s captain, Ashu Malik, to the bench, extending the lead to 4-0. Dabang Delhi struggled initially but found their footing when Surjeet Singh executed a crucial tackle in a do-or-die raid, followed by Manjeet’s successful raid, narrowing the gap to 5-2. Neeraj Narwal’s point and revival of Ashu Malik further reduced the deficit to 5-3. By the first timeout, Delhi had closed the score to 5-4.

Telugu Titans regained control post-timeout, with their defense stifling Delhi’s raiders. Shubham Shinde’s tackle on Ashu Malik and consistent defensive pressure helped the Titans enter halftime with a commanding 14-9 lead.

The second half saw Dabang Delhi transform the game’s momentum. Neeraj Narwal’s brilliant Super Raid earned three points, bringing the score to 14-15. Despite a quick Super Tackle from the Titans pushing their lead to 19-14, Delhi responded with a game-changing ALL OUT, taking their first lead at 20-19 with 13 minutes remaining. A subsequent tackle extended their advantage to 21-19.

Fazel Atrachali anchored Delhi’s defense, delivering sharp tackles to complete a High Five and help his team surge to a 27-22 lead within the first four minutes of the second half. Telugu Titans fought back, narrowing the gap to 28-30 in the final minutes with contributions from Shubham Shinde and Praful Zaware. However, Akshit’s decisive Super Raid for Delhi pushed the score to 33-28, sealing the victory. The Titans managed one final point, but Dabang Delhi held firm to clinch their sixth consecutive win in PKL Season 12.
