Cold Winds Sweep Rajasthan as Temperatures Drop Below 20°C in Several Districts
Rajasthan Weather Update: Winter is beginning to arrive in Rajasthan. Significant morning and evening temperatures have dropped in many areas of the state.
As the rains have stopped, northwesterly winds are active now, changing the weather of Rajasthan. Snowfall in North India's hilly regions and cold winds from there have intensified the winter effect in the state.
The night temperature in Sirohi plummeted to a low of 15.8 degrees Celsius, the season's lowest. While the minimum temperatures in Shekhawati, Hanumangarh, Bikaner, and Ganganagar divisions are well below 20 degrees Celsius.
According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will remain dry in the state for the next few days. Sunshine during the day will slightly increase the maximum temperature, but northerly winds will maintain cool mornings and evenings.
In the past 24 hours, most cities, including Jaipur, Alwar, Sikar, Nagaur, Bikaner, Churu, and Pilani, recorded maximum temperatures below 30 degrees Celsius. Sikar recorded a maximum temperature of 26.7 degrees Celsius, the lowest in the state.

Weather experts say that the effects of snowfall in North India due to the Western Disturbance are reaching the plains. Light fog and cold winds are being felt in many areas of Haryana, Punjab, and Rajasthan.
In rural areas, fans and coolers have now been turned off at night, and people have started wearing light warm clothing. According to the Meteorological Department, there will be slight fluctuations in temperatures in the coming days, but the effect of cold winds will continue.
According to the Meteorological Department's report, the minimum temperature of the major districts of the state was as follows: Ajmer 18.6, Jaipur 20.8, Sikar 17.5, Kota 21.7, Chittorgarh 21.2, Barmer 22.6, Jaisalmer 25.0, Jodhpur 21.5, Bikaner 20.4 degrees, Churu 19.4 degrees and Sri Ganganagar 19.7 degrees Celsius.
The Meteorological Department says that a new western disturbance may become active in the northern areas on October 14-15. As such, there is a possibility of rain again around Diwali.
