ChatGPT Gov launched for US government, know what is special in it
OpenAI: OpenAI CPO Kevin Weil posted on X (formerly Twitter) that ChatGPT Gov has immense potential to tackle complex public sector challenges, such as improving public health and infrastructure, and strengthening national security.

OpenAI designed a tailor-made AI tool for use in the US government, specifically, ChatGPT Gov. Specifically designed for use in government operations, ChatGPT Gov, according to its blog post, with its availability for use in the US government, seeks to make AI work for a national and public purpose, in harmony with democratic values, and allow policymakers to responsibly apply these capabilities for providing better services to Americans.
According to OpenAI, US government agencies can deploy ChatGPT Gov in Microsoft Azure's commercial cloud and will get many features of ChatGPT Enterprise, including custom GPTs. The blog stated that ChatGPT Gov will help government agencies take control of their security, privacy, and compliance needs. It complies with rigorous cybersecurity standards such as IL5, CJIS, ITAR, and FedRAMP High. This will help OpenAI tools process sensitive and non-public data faster.
