The country's largest car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki has released last month's sales report. The company said on Wednesday that it has sold 1,99,217 units in October 2023, which is the highest sale ever made by Maruti. Let us know about the figures presented by the company.

Maruti Suzuki recorded its highest-ever monthly sales of 1,99,217 units in October. Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) on Wednesday reported its highest-ever October monthly sales of 1,99,217 units, a growth of 19 percent year-on-year. Let us tell you that the country's largest car manufacturer dispatched 1,67,520 units in October 2022.

MSI recorded its best domestic monthly dispatches in October at 1,77,266 units, up 21 percent from 1,47,072 units in the year-ago period, the auto major said in a statement. Its total domestic passenger vehicle sales have increased from 1,40,337 units in October 2022 to 1,68,047 units last month.

Sales of mini segment cars including Alto and S-Presso declined to 14,568 units in October 2022 as against 24,936 units. Apart from this, sales of its compact cars including Baleno, Celerio, Dezire, Ignis, Swift, Tour S, and WagonR have increased to 80,662 units as compared to 73,685 units in the year-ago month.
 
Apart from this, sales of utility vehicles including Brezza, Grand Vitara, Ertiga, and XL6 increased by 91 percent last month to 59,147 units, which was 30,971 units earlier. MSI said that its exports in October 2023 stood at 21,951 units, which was 20,448 units in the same month last year.
