Kia India is all set to introduce its 3 new products in the domestic market, which also includes a locally manufactured RV. This car will be available in both ICE and electric form. Speaking to ET Auto, Kia India Managing Director and CEO Tae-Jin Park confirmed that the Korean carmaker will launch three new products in India in 2024. However, no details are available about the RV yet. It is expected that its ICE version will be introduced first and the battery-powered model may be introduced sometime after that.
Apart from the Kia RV, the two cars that Kia India is expected to launch in India next year include the Sonet facelift as well as the new Carnival, which recently made its debut in South Korea. Additionally, the design of the China-spec Kia Sonet facelift was also leaked recently, but we expect similar changes to be made to the Indian version as well.
Styling changes include boomerang-shaped headlight clusters, new alloy wheels as well and new connected vertical tail lamps. This will likely include a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, connected technology, seat ventilation, and ADAS technology.
On the other hand, the facelifted third-gen Kia Carnival is a major advancement compared to the second-gen version of the MPV available in the Indian market. The exterior changes are quite significant compared to the India-spec Carnival, with the MPV now based on the company's 'Opposites United' design language. Kia has not yet unveiled the interior styling of the 2024 Carnival facelift.
