Many companies in the Indian market offer vehicles in their cars, MPV, and SUV segments. Some of them also offer luxury cars. That also includes Germany's luxury vehicle manufacturer Audi. What kind of information has Audi India Head Balbir Singh Dhillon shared in a conversation with Dainik Jagran. We are telling you in this news.

Audi India chief Balbir Singh Dhillon said that the company has achieved a growth of 33 percent during the financial year 2023-24. During this period, Audi India has sold a total of 7027 units of vehicles in the market. The special thing is that 58 percent of the company's sales come from customers who are less than 50 years of age. He said that customer loyalty is very important in today's time and an existing customer buys every fourth car of ours.

Audi India head Balbir Singh Dhillon said that the luxury car market in India is still very small compared to other markets, but there is a lot of possibility of growth in it. According to him, there is also a lot of potential for electric luxury vehicles in the luxury car market because the central and state governments are making this segment very attractive. Along with this, we will also need a long-term roadmap in import duty and tax so that the market can be improved further.

Audi currently offers four electric luxury cars in the Indian market, including the Q8 E-Tron and Q8 Sportsback e-Tron. The company will also soon release the Q6 e-Tron, which was previously introduced in the global market. Currently, electric cars account for only 3% of the company's total sales, but the company hopes to increase this figure to 50% by 2030. Audi India is working to produce electric vehicles in India as soon as possible, and the company is in constant communication with its global headquarters.

According to Audi India Head Balbir Singh, along with new luxury cars, the demand in the used luxury market is also increasing continuously in India. The company has achieved a growth of 25 percent in this segment between January and March 2024. The company is constantly making plans to increase it. At present, the company has 27 outlets across the country where used luxury cars are sold and more than 300 luxury cars are being offered in them.
