After India, this local two-wheeler company will now spread its glory in Italy, sales started on foreign soil

TVS Motor Company on Wednesday said it has launched its operations in Italy with plans to launch a range of motorcycles along with conventional and electric scooters.

Through its branch office, TVS Motor Italia, led by Giovanni Notarbartolo Di Furnari, the company is growing its operations in Italy, according to a regulatory filing.

Furnari has extensive experience in senior managerial roles at leading automotive companies in Italy, Latin America, the UAE and Europe. "Our move into Italy is a strategic step towards our global ambitions," said Sharad Mohan Mishra, President, Head Group Strategy, TVS Motor Company.
