Jay Shah, secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), on Friday, September 8, honored India's batting great Sachin Tendulkar with a golden ticket as part of the "Golden Ticket for India Icons" event.
Bharat Ratna awardee Sachin Tendulkar is only the second person to get the ticket. Earlier, Shah had presented a golden ticket to veteran Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan on Tuesday. It will be interesting to see who else gets this golden ticket in the days to come. The countdown for the ODI World Cup 2023 has already begun.
