16-year-old Durgashankar Gurjar, who was admitted to JLN Hospital in Ajmer, gave a special message to humanity through organ donation. When 9th-grade student Durga suddenly turned brain-dead, his family took the very brave step of donating his organs. Durga's liver and both kidneys were transported to SMS Hospital in Jaipur, giving new life to three patients.

According to family members, Durga suddenly fainted on September 16th after complaining of a severe headache. After which, he was brought to JLN Hospital in Ajmer, where, after four days of treatment, doctors declared him brain dead on September 21st. According to Medical College Principal Dr. Anil Samaria, this condition was caused by a ruptured brain hemorrhage, although other organs were functioning normally.

After this tragic incident, the father of Durga, Jawanram Gurjar, said that the family decided to donate the organs on September 20th, after which teams of doctors from Jaipur and Chennai came to Ajmer. Even though a heart transplant was not feasible, the liver and both kidneys of Durga were successfully transported to Jaipur. A green corridor was formed to provide timely delivery of the organs. This process gave new life to three patients.

In recognition of Durga's family's courageous decision, Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani visited the hospital and honored the family by garlanding them. Slogans of "Durga Shankar Amar Rahe" were raised at the condolence meeting, and the family was given a guard of honor.

Medical College Principal Dr. Anil Samariya explained that the entire organ donation process is linked to an online system. As soon as the family gave their consent, a request for the liver, kidneys, heart, and lungs was registered, and after testing, the liver and kidneys were transferred to Jaipur.

Durga's young death deeply saddened the family, but their courageous decision gave hope and new life to three other families. This initiative is an inspiration for the entire state and gives the message to the coming generations that death is not the end, but can be a new beginning of someone else's life.
