Vinfast will introduce two Electric SUVs in India; Know details

The leading electric vehicle manufacturer of Vietnam, VinFast, is preparing to start its journey in the Indian market. Know by when and which vehicle will be launched first in the Indian market by the manufacturer, and which cars the manufacturer will offer in its portfolio in the year 2025. 

VinFast is preparing to start the journey in the Indian market soon. It will be launched by the manufacturer in September 2025. According to the information, the manufacturer will launch its first electric SUV in India before the festive season.

According to the information, Vinfast VF7 electric SUV will be launched first in the Indian market. It is given a battery of 75.3 kWh capacity, which gives a range of 431 km. It gets 348 horsepower from the motor installed in it.

VF6 will also be launched in the Indian market as the second vehicle from VinFast. It has a battery of 59.6 kWh capacity, with which 201 horsepower is given from the motor. The SUV can be driven up to 381 km in a single charge.

After launching two electric SUVs in 2025, the manufacturer will launch VF3 in the Indian market as the third vehicle. It will be a compact electric vehicle, which will be challenged by cars like the MG Comet EV and the Tata Tiago EV. VinFast VF 3 can be given a battery pack of 18.64 kWh capacity. With which the electric motor will give 41 PS of power and 110 Newton-meters of torque. The battery gives a driving range of up to 215 km in a single charge. Its battery gets charged up to 10-70 percent in just 36 minutes.

Booking for these cars will start with the manufacturer soon. According to the information, bookings for these cars will start in late June or early July. These cars have been introduced in the Indian market by Vinfast during the Auto Expo held in January 2025. In January, the manufacturer formally introduced the VF7 and VF6. While all the other cars in its portfolio were also showcased.
