The man-eating leopard was caught after five days of hard work. In five days in Udaipur, Rajasthan, it had made a woman, a man, and one girl its prey.

The army team's help had to be taken to catch the leopard. The forest department and army team collaborated in a joint operation and caught the leopard. One thing that is worth mentioning here is that the leopard got trapped in the cage at the very place where it had hunted the woman.

With the joint efforts of the army and forest department, a big cage was set up, and fish water was sprayed across it. Pieces of meat were also placed inside the cage. Attracted by this, on its own, the leopard entered the cage.

The teams also used technology to track the leopard. Drones were also used to track the leopard in the forests. Its pugmarks were also tracked. The team had set up cages at six places across the region to catch the man-eating leopard.
