Tata Motors sells its vehicles across multiple segments in India, making it one of the major automakers of the country. The automaker recently launched the Tata Sierra. The brand has now stated that this SUV has a powerful engine, which has taken the vehicle to a speed of 222 kmph.
Recently, the mid-size SUV offered by Tata created a new record. As per information provided by the manufacturer, the SUV created this record on a racing track.
According to information, this SUV was driven at a maximum speed of 222 kilometers per hour during testing at the NATRAX racing track in Madhya Pradesh. Previously, the SUV was driven at a speed of 200 kilometers per hour. However, the maximum speed limit for its production version has been limited to 190 kilometers.
The manufacturer has fitted this SUV with a 1.5-liter TGDi engine that generates 158 bhp of power and 255 Newton meters of torque. This SUV has a six-speed automatic transmission.

Tata offers several excellent safety features in the Sierra SUV. This SUV is equipped with safety features like six airbags, 20 Level-2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), ESP, traction control system, hill-hold assist, 360-degree camera, electronic parking brake, tyre pressure monitoring system, rear wiper and washer, rear defogger, and ISOFIX child anchorage.
Tata Sierra has been launched by Tata at an introductory ex-showroom price of Rs 11.49 lakh. The top variant of this SUV is priced at Rs 18.49 lakh ex-showroom.
