Suzuki Motorcycle India has launched the new V-Strom 800DE of the 2025 model year in India. This bike is now compliant with OBD-2B standards. And it has been launched with a new colour scheme, which portrays the bike's power, multi-tasking ability, as well as adventurous nature. The Delhi ex-showroom price of this adventure bike has been quoted at approximately Rs 10.25 lakh. It has been made to deliver powerful performance from normal daily usage to rough terrain.

The V-Strom 800DE is now available in yet another new colour option, Pearl Tech White, which comes with blue spoke rims. Besides this, two other existing colour variants are also available- Champion Yellow No.2, which comes with black panels and blue rims, and Glass Sparkle Black, which comes with black rims and grey as well as red graphics. The new colour variants add more style and appeal to it.

The 2025 V-Strom 800DE is powered by a 776cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine. This engine produces 83.1 bhp of power at 8,500 rpm and 78 Nm of torque at 6,800 rpm. Its 270-degree crankshaft gives it smooth riding as well as a distinctive V-twin sound. This engine strikes a perfect balance of controlled power at the low end and strong performance at high RPM.

The V-Strom 800DE has been introduced with many modern features. It gets the Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (S.I.R.S.), three different riding modes under the Suzuki Drive Mode Selector (SDMS), and a traction control system. Which also includes gravel mode for special off-road. It has a bi-directional quick shifter that allows gears to be shifted without a clutch. Apart from this, touring features like two-mode ABS, full-LED lighting setup, 5-inch TFT LCD screen, adjustable windscreen, and optional panniers are also available.

The steel frame of the bike keeps it stable on straight roads. At the same time, a wheelbase of 1,570 mm, ground clearance of 220 mm, and seat height of 855 mm make it suitable for off-road riding as well. It has Showa inverted front forks and mono-shock suspension at the rear. Which gives 220 mm travel at both ends. It gets 21-inch aluminium front rims, wire-spoke wheels and Dunlop Trailmax Mixtour Adventure tyres. Which gives a better grip on bad roads. Its fuel tank is 20 liters, which is great for long rides.
