Supertech's projects can also be passed over to NBCC, according to the corporation, and we are ready to fulfil them
In the case of Supertech Ltd. going on in NCLT, the suggestion to complete its projects from NBCC has been given by the main lender bank Union Bank. Supertech has many projects in Noida and Greater Noida. Attorney General Venkat Ramani, who appeared in NCLT, also said that NBCC is willing to work on these projects.
Similarly, the stalled projects of Supertech Limited can be handed over to NBCC. The special thing is that NBCC has agreed in principle that if it gets the responsibility of completing these projects, then it is ready with it—just the due process should be followed properly.
In the continuing case against Supertech Ltd. at the NCLT, the lead lender bank has given a suggestion of getting its projects completed from NBCC. The bank owes about Rs 432 crore to Supertech in only one project, Eco Village-2. Sources in NBCC have confirmed to IANS that the company is ready to complete all stalled and soured projects of Supertech, provided the details of all the projects should be made available to it as was done in the Amrapali case.
NBCC had contacted only in respect of Eco Village-2 in IRP (professional appointed for interim resolution in bankruptcy case). It was, during the course of the hearing before NCLT, submitted by IRP that if Union Bank makes a request, complete details of all the views can be provided to NBCC.
