Sri Lanka hopes to host India for ODI and T20 series, decision possible in two-three days

In the same period, the Sri Lanka Cricket Board is hoping to host a limited-overs series with India. Whether this series will happen or not is to be decided at the ICC General Meeting in Singapore.
India and Bangladesh's three-match ODI and three-match T20 series was postponed with the agreement of the cricket boards of both nations. This series will be hosted in 2026 instead. Simultaneously, in this scenario, the Sri Lanka Cricket Board is anticipating hosting India for a limited-overs series.
Following the ongoing five-Test series between England and India, the Bangladesh tour was expected to begin from August 17. According to a senior SLC official, "We have received a positive response. Further discussions will take place during the ICC meeting in Singapore. We expect a final decision within two or three days. If approved, the series is likely to be held in Colombo and Kandy."
