The selectors have made Sanju Samson the captain of the Kerala team for two Ranji matches. In fact, Sanju Samson, who was constantly in and out of Team India, scored a century at the time when it was needed. It was only because of Sanju's century that the Indian team could win the ODI series against South Africa. Now he has been given a big gift by handing over the command of the team.

Sanju Samson played a brilliant century of 108 runs with the help of 6 fours and 3 sixes in 114 balls in the deciding match of the ODI series against South Africa. This innings will be very important for the career of Sanju who is constantly being ignored. It is expected that Sanju Samson will get continuous opportunities in Team India.

According to the TOI report, while Sanju Samson has been given the captaincy of the Kerala team in the first two matches of the Ranji Trophy, Rohan Kunnumal will be the vice-captain. The selectors have also included three new faces in the Kerala team, Krishna Prasad, Anand Krishnan and wicketkeeper Vishnu Raj.

Whereas middle-order batsman Vishnu Vinod has also been successful in making a comeback. Along with this, Jalaj Saxena and Shreyas Gopal have also got a place in the squad.
