Railway employees will get 78 days bonus before Diwali; Government announced
Railway Bonus News: The Union Cabinet on Thursday approved the payment of 78 days bonus to more than 11.72 lakh railway employees. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav gave this information. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that the payment of bonus acts as an incentive to motivate railway employees to work towards improving the performance of the railways.
Before Diwali, the central government made a major announcement to railway employees. The Prime Minister took over a cabinet meeting on Thursday, during which it was announced that railway employees would receive a 78-day bonus. The bonus will be given to railway employees before the Dussehra and Diwali Puja holidays. Following the cabinet's decision, approximately 12 lakh railway employees will receive the benefit.
Railway employees will receive a 78-day bonus before the upcoming festivals. In total, Rs 2,028 crore will be spent on this. 11 lakh 72 thousand 240 employees will benefit from this. The central government made this decision during a cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Modi on Thursday.
Giving information about the decisions after the meeting, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that there are more than 13 lakh employees in the railways right now. Out of these, about one lakh 59 thousand employees have joined in the last financial year. He informed that each eligible employee will get a maximum of Rs 17,951 for 78 days.
