New Zealand chose to bat first after winning the toss; 3 major changes in India's playing 11

The Kiwi team won the Bengaluru Test, keeping their 1-0 lead in the three-match Test series between India and New Zealand. At Pune's Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, the second game of this series is being played today. Tom Latham, the captain of New Zealand, won the toss and chose to bat first in this game. According to Latham, the pitch is a little different than the one from the previous week.

He said Santner has replaced Matt Henry in the playing eleven. Rohit Sharma, on the other hand, said three big changes in the team have been made. Akash Deep, Washington Sundar, and Shubman Gill replace Mohammed Siraj, KL Rahul, and Kuldeep Yadav in the playing XI.

Yashasvi Jaiswal needs four more sixes to equal the record for most sixes hit in a calendar year in Test cricket. If he manages to make five sixes in Pune too, then the record will be his property. On the other hand, Indian team captain Rohit Sharma is two sixes away from equalling India's all-time record for most sixes in Test cricket.

India's playing 11: Yashasvi Jaiswal, Rohit Sharma (captain), Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, Sarfaraz Khan, Rishabh Pant (wicketkeeper), Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin, Washington Sundar, Akashdeep and Jasprit Bumrah.
