Odisha: OSSC made a mistake, candidates will bear the brunt; Teachers recruitment exam will be held again

The candidates will have to bear the brunt of the mistake of the Odisha Staff Selection Committee (OSSC). Major flaws have come to light in the recruitment process of Hindi and Sanskrit teachers in high schools. As a result, it has been told that this examination will be conducted again.

The main written examination for the recruitment of teachers of Hindi and Sanskrit subjects has been canceled due to the questions coming from outside the syllabus. Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has released a notification stating that the exam will be conducted again in December.

Last month, the examination for 2,075 posts of teacher teachers in Hindi and Sanskrit subjects was held in Bhubaneswar on September 22 and 23. Candidates had complained to OSSC that the questions in the exam were not from the syllabus and came from outside the syllabus.

On the basis of the complaints of the candidates, the question paper was examined by education experts on behalf of the Commission. It was found that a large number of questions were from outside the syllabus. Although it has become a matter of discussion how the committee prepared the question paper from outside the syllabus, how did the screening committee not catch it during scrutiny? Due to the truth in the allegations of the candidates, it has been decided to cancel the main written examination conducted for the posts of Hindi and Sanskrit teachers and conduct the examination again in December. There is anger among the students regarding this.
