The Motorola Edge 70 5G might soon launch in global markets. The Lenovo-owned brand has not officially confirmed its existence, but leaked details suggest pricing and color options for the successor to the Motorola Edge 60. This new model in the Edge series is said to feature 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. It is believed to be a rebranded version of the Moto X70 Air, which will soon debut in China.
Tipster Paras Guglani (@passionategeekz) leaked the alleged price and color options of the unannounced Motorola Edge 70 5G on Twitter. Guglani claimed the phone will be priced at EUR 690 (around Rs. 70,000) and will come in Pantone Bronze Green, Pantone Gadget Gray, and Pantone Lily Pad shades.
He also stated that the device will be available in 12GB + 512GB RAM and storage configurations, though Motorola is expected to offer more variants at launch. So far, Motorola has not provided any official information regarding the phone, its specifications, or its release date.
This leak follows recent renders of the Motorola Edge 70 5G that surfaced online, showing a flat display and a slightly raised camera array with three sensors. The display features a hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera, and the renders reveal color accents on the camera rings and the Moto AI button.
The Motorola Edge 70 is thought to be the global version of the Moto X70 Air, which is set to launch in China later this month. The X70 Air is expected to have a slimmer profile and AI features, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.
The Motorola Edge 70 is likely to offer upgrades over the Motorola Edge 60, which launched in India in June at a price of ₹25,999 for a single variant with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The Edge 60 features a 6.67-inch display with 1.5K resolution, powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset, along with a 50-megapixel triple camera setup and a 5,500mAh battery.
