Mahindra XEV 9S Set for November 27 Launch; Expected Price Around ₹20 Lakh

Mahindra will launch its new SUV, the Mahindra XEV 9S. The carmaker will launch this SUV in India on November 27. Notably, this SUV will be the country's first electric seven-seater SUV.

This SUV will have quite a few innovative features from its manufacturer. It can be seen in the interior clip, which shows the stitching pattern of the seats. There is a silver plate provided on the shoulder area of ​​the seat, giving it a premium finish. Additionally, this SUV may include features like connected LED DRLs, LED lights, a panoramic sunroof, a Harman Kardon premium sound system, Dolby Atmos support, soft-touch materials, memory seats, and an electronic parking brake.

The manufacturer is expected to provide a 79 kWh battery pack, which can provide a range of up to 656 kilometers on a single charge. Exact pricing will be announced by Mahindra at the time of launch. However, it is expected that this SUV will be launched in the Indian market with an ex-showroom price of around ₹20 lakh.

No other manufacturer offers an option in the seven-seat electric SUV segment in India. However, this SUV will compete with the Kia Carens Clavis EV and Tata Harrier EV. It will also compete with the soon-to-be-launched Tata Sierra EV.
