Kia India has launched its new car Sonet Facelift in the Indian market. The new Sonet facelift is getting many cosmetic upgrades and powerful features. The company had released a teaser on its social media. ADAS feature will also be available in this car. Talking about the design, the new Sonet gets a boomerang-shaped headlamp cluster with a signature tiger-nose grille.

Again its designed dual-tone alloy wheels are available. At the rear, the SUV comes equipped with LED taillights that look similar to the Seltos. The rear bumper has been redesigned and also features an integrated spoiler.
10 colour options can be found in it. It is also expected to get a new Pewter Olive exterior colour theme like Seltos. As features, it will get a touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital instrument cluster, ventilated seats, a 360-degree camera, automatic climate control, connected car technology, electric controls for driver seats, wireless charging, and wireless Apple CarPlay/Android.
The new Sonet gets ADAS features like forward collision warning, lane keep assist and departure warning, driver attention alert, high-beam assist, lane following assist and leading vehicle lane departure alert. For safety, it has 6 airbags, TCS, ABS, EBD, stability control, front and rear parking sensors, TPMS and more.
No changes have been made to its engine. It will be offered in three engine options. There is a 120 PS 1.0-litre turbo-petrol, 83PS 1.2-litre NA petrol, and a 116PS 1.5-litre turbo diesel engine. Gearbox options will include iMT (clutchless manual), AT and 5-speed manual.
While the current model starts at Rs 7.79 lakh (ex-showroom), the new Sonet with new features and design may start at Rs 8 lakh (ex-showroom). The Kia Sonet facelift continues to compete with the likes of Hyundai Venue, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger and Mahindra XUV300.
