Reflecting on her collaboration with Vijay Sethupathi in "Merry Christmas," Katrina revealed, "It was always a dream to work with him, and I got the opportunity in Merry Christmas." Describing it as an incredible yet challenging experience, she emphasized the demanding nature of her role in the suspense thriller, which is multilingual, being filmed in both Tamil and Hindi.
Recalling the linguistic challenges, Katrina shared, "In the Tamil version, I spoke in Tamil, adding an extra layer of excitement and challenge. Vijay Sethupathi, my co-star, was fantastic, adapting seamlessly to both Hindi and Tamil versions."
Amidst speculations about a potential spin-off for her character Zoya from the "Tiger" series, Katrina remained tight-lipped, stating, "I can’t speak of it" in an interview with Pinkvilla, hinting at the secrecy surrounding the project.
As for "Merry Christmas," originally slated for a December 2023 release, the film's premiere was rescheduled to January 2024 to avoid clashes with other high-profile releases in the same month.
