Jaipur’s Badi Chaupad Witnesses Traditional Independence Day Flag Hoisting by BJP and Congress Leaders
Independence Day: A district-level Independence Day program will be organized at Chaugan Stadium in the capital, Jaipur today. At the same time, the unique tradition going on for 75 years at Badi Chaupad will also continue. Where both BJP and Congress parties hoist the flag.

District-level Independence Day celebrations will be celebrated at Chaugan Stadium. Flag hoisting here will be done by Deputy CM Premchand Bairwa at 9:30 am. On this occasion, distinguished persons will be awarded for their outstanding service in social service, art and other areas. In addition to this, employees and officers will also be awarded for outstanding work in their respective fields.
The flag hoisting tradition will also be conducted at Badi Chaupad in the capital city Jaipur. In Jaipur every year, BJP and Congress party leaders have been conducting flag hoisting programs here. Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Premchand Bairwa will hoist the tricolor from the ruling party platform. BJP State President Madan Rathore will also be attending this. Leader of Opposition Tikaram Julie will hoist the tricolor from the opposition's stage. Prominent leaders including PCC Chief Govind Dotasara will be present. In this, the ruling party's stage faces towards Ramganj Chaupad and the opposition stage faces towards Sanganeri Gate.

State President Madan Rathore hoisted the flag at the state BJP office in Jaipur. On this occasion, Rathore said - We decided to celebrate Independence Day as a festival. Our workers went door to door and hoisted the tricolor. The meaning of tricolour in every home is that the feeling of patriotism should be instilled in the citizens, the opposition should also have the spirit of patriotism. Today's day reminds us that so many warriors played an important role in getting independence. We pay tribute to them.
At the state Congress headquarters, PCC chief Govind Singh Dotasara hoisted the flag. He said - Today is the day to pay homage and salute to those immortal martyrs, who got freedom for the country with their unwavering faith, indomitable courage and sacrifice of everything.
