There will be Apple Car Play and Android Auto available on the infotainment system. It will come equipped with six airbags, a heads-up display, an electronic stability programme (ESP) that supports wireless charging, and a semi-digital instrument cluster.

If rumours about it are to be accepted, Toyota's next car will come with a 1.0-litre turbocharged BoosterJet engine and a 5-speed manual or AMT gearbox.

A 1.2-litre naturally aspirated dual jet engine with 99 horsepower will be offered as the second engine choice.

It will be combined with a 6-speed torque converter and a 5-speed manual. Toyota is anticipated to be able to provide a CNG engine option for it as well.
