Infosys founder Narayana Murthy has emphasized the Indian youth to progress and increase productivity. He said that today's youth should work 70 hours a week. Murthy said in "The Record", the first episode of 3one4 Capital's video series, that I want every youth in India to work 70 hours a week.
During a conversation with former Infosys CFO Mohandas Pai, Murthy also stressed adopting the right habits. He said that there is a need to adopt the right habits in place of the bad habits of Western countries. If any youth adopts the bad habits of western countries then it will not help the country as much as it does.
Regarding emerging markets and Chinese markets, Narayan Murthy said that we can learn from these countries. These countries have made significant progress in the last 25-30 years. When these countries are moving on the path of progress, they will be facing many ups and downs. It is only after facing these ups and downs that they have reached this path of progress today. These countries have made policy decisions for progress, we can also make such decisions to develop economically.
