Huawei Watch 5 smartwatch launched with eSIM connectivity, premium design; Know the price

Huawei Watch 5 was released in the UK and some European countries on Thursday in addition to Watch Fit 4 and Watch Fit 4 Pro. Huawei Watch 5 comes in 42mm and 46mm sizes. Huawei Watch 5 features 5ATM and IP69 ratings and promises battery life of up to four and half days. The smartwatch also has Bluetooth calling and eSIM connectivity. Accompanying it is the Huawei Watch Fit 4 series with 1.82-inch AMOLED display and built-in GPS support.

The price of Huawei Watch 5 in the UK begins at GBP 399.99 (around Rs 45,700) for the 42mm Green and White color variants. In the same way, the price for the 46mm Black variant is also the same. Meanwhile, the Huawei Watch Fit 4 and Watch Fit 4 Pro models are priced at GBP 149.99 (around Rs 17,100) and GBP 249.99 (around Rs 28,500) respectively. Both of them can be availed for purchase from the official e-store in the UK as well as from some of the European countries.

The 42mm Huawei Watch 5 is offered in Beige, Green, Gold, and White shades. Whereas, the 46mm variant is available in Black, Brown, Purple, and Titanium color options. The base Huawei Watch Fit 4 has been launched in Black, Grey, Purple, and White shades. Whereas, the Watch Fit 4 Pro is listed in Black, Blue, and Green colour options.

The 42mm Huawei Watch 5 features a 1.38-inch LTPO AMOLED display, while the 46mm variant has a 1.5-inch screen. The screen offers 466 x 466 pixels resolution and 3,000 nits peak brightness level. The larger model is made of aerospace-grade titanium, while the smaller option comes with a 904L stainless steel body.

The Huawei Watch 5 has ECG, sleep, blood oxygen level, and heart rate monitors. It has 5 ATM water resistance and an IP69 dust and water resistance rating. The smartwatch supports Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, GPS, and eSIM connectivity.

The 42mm Watch 5 can last up to three days in standard mode or two days in Always-on Display (AOD) mode. At the same time, the 46mm variant claims to offer four and a half days of battery life in standard mode and three days in AOD mode.

The Huawei Watch Fit 4 series features a 1.82-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 480 x 408 pixels. The base and Pro models support 2,000 nits and 3,000 nits peak brightness levels respectively. The smart wearables have a rotating crown and side buttons. They have a 5 ATM water resistance rating, while the Pro version also has an IP6X dust resistance rating.

The Huawei Watch Fit 4 Pro variant has an ECG sensor, while both the base and Pro models have heart rate monitors. Both models claim to offer up to 10 days of battery life with standard use. Connectivity options include GPS, Bluetooth 5.2, and NFC.
