The Honor Robot Phone was teased a while back as a concept smartphone, but a new leak from China hints that it is now headed into mass production. The most attractive feature of the Honor Robot Phone is its robotic arm carrying a gimbal-mounted camera that can automatically rotate to track a subject. When not in use, the gimbal module conveniently folds into a camera island. Honor has already confirmed that it plans to showcase the Robot Phone globally at MWC 2026. It was initially shown in three color options.
Recently, tipster Smart Pikachu indicated on Weibo that the mass production of the phone called the Honor Robot Phone will start in the first half of next year. However, there's no information on where the company plans to introduce this futuristic smartphone. However, the latest leak suggests that the concept device is one step closer to its commercial debut.
The Chinese tech brand has already announced that the Robot Phone will be showcased at MWC 2026 in Barcelona in March. Its commercial launch is expected shortly after its MWC debut. This innovative device was also recently showcased during the Honor User Carnival in China. It was first teased during the launch of the Honor Magic 8 series.
