HMD Fusion is launching soon; now you'll be able to repair your phone by yourself if it gets any damages
The India launch of the HMD Fusion smartphone is near. The microsite for this has also gone live on Amazon. The company brought this phone to the global market in September and now it is India's turn. It will be launched with a modular design and unique features. It will have the facility of self-repairability. Which will make it different from other phones.
HMD is going to launch a new phone in India soon. The teasers have been already released by the company. The phone that HMD is bringing to India is already present in the global market and its name is HMD Fusion. It was launched in September. Now the company is preparing to launch this phone in the Indian market. Even though its exact launch date has not been revealed yet, the design of the phone has come out. Along with this, some special features have also been revealed, which are going to be found in it.
It is now live on Amazon for the upcoming device, where a lot of details have emerged, and it has become clear that the phone will go on sale here. HMD Fusion features a 'Smart Outfit System', which unfolds additional functionalities with the help of a modular back panel connected via a six-pin connector. The phone will arrive with Gen2 self-repairability that will enable users to replace components themselves at home via a kit. It can be launched starting from Rs 23,999.
Amongst other unique features, what makes the HMD Fusion so unique is its modular design. Since the phone was already out in the global market, all the specification details are also out. The company is bringing it to India with features included in the global variant. The different options of Fusion phone gaming outfits, flashy outfits with camera-circling LED lights, rugged outfits, and casual outfits make it different.
HMD Fusion comes with a 6.56-inch HD + LCD display supporting a refresh rate of 90Hz. It is powered by a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC, coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The storage is expandable via a microSD card. It features an Android 14 update. The phone houses a large 5,000mAh battery supporting 33W fast charging.
For clicking photos, the device has fitted a 108MP dual rear camera system, and there is a 50MP selfie shooter to click video calls and self-portrait pictures. The device comes with IP54 rating for water-dust protection. Other options like a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual-SIM support, Bluetooth 5.1, and a USB Type-C port for unlock.
