Government launches AI chatbot to facilitate PM-Kisan scheme, avail its benefits like this
The AI chatbot was launched by Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Kailash Chaudhary in the presence of Agriculture Secretary Manoj Ahuja and Additional Agriculture Secretary Pramod Mehrada. During the program, Mehrada explained the features of the chatbot and how it is beneficial for the farmers. The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare on Thursday launched an AI chatbot for the PM-Kisan scheme. According to the official statement, this chatbot is currently available in English, Hindi, Bengali, Oriya, and Tamil. The introduction of an AI Chatbot in the PM-Kisan Grievance Management System aims to empower farmers with a user-friendly and accessible platform. The AI chatbot in the first phase of development will help farmers get information related to their application status, payment details, ineligibility status, and other scheme-related updates
PM-Kisan is integrated with Bhashini, an AI chatbot accessible through the mobile application, which provides multilingual assistance, catering to the linguistic and regional diversity of PM-Kisan beneficiaries. This integration of advanced technology will not only increase transparency but also help farmers make informed decisions.
