Since 2002, the default search engine of Safari browser in Apple devices iPhones, and iPads is Google. The decision on this case going on in the American court may come by the end of the year.

Google's parent company Alphabet Inc. has paid heavily to become the default search engine in Apple's Safari browser. This information has come to light through the documents submitted by Google in the court.
In America, a case is going on against Google for monopoly in search engines. There are allegations against Google that it has misused its position to establish a monopoly in the field of search engine and web advertising.
Google had informed the court earlier in November that it gives Apple a total of 36% of the money it makes from Safari searches. According to the company, it paid $20 billion.
