NABARD has refuted the false claims that it provides direct loans to farmers for dairy businesses under the Dairy Entrepreneurship Development Scheme. NABARD has clarified that the information given in the above claims is completely incorrect.
According to NABARD, it strives to offer financial support and collaboration to different financial institutions and cooperative institutions involved in rural development, serving as the premier development finance institution. Direct loan distribution to farmers is never done by NABARD.
NABARD has urged all its stakeholders, especially farmers and rural entrepreneurs, to exercise caution regarding such misinformation and avoid believing and propagating the same.
