Craze for Maruti Grand Vitara increases, sales increase by 79 percent on annual basis, price starts from Rs 10.70 lakh

The craze for the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara is increasing rapidly day by day. We can see its effect in the sales reports. Customers have liked this car a lot since its launch. It can be seen as a successful SUV. However, this car is included in the top 20 best-selling cars in November in which it is at number 18. But the sales of this car have increased by 79 percent on an annual basis.

If we compare it with last year's November 2022, then this year in 2023 its sales have been 79% more units. A total of 4,433 units of Maruti Grand Vitara were sold in November 2022 while 7,937 units were sold in November 2023. If we look at these sales figures, it is the 11th best-selling SUV. This car is a rebadged version of Toyota Urban Cruiser High Rider.

The price of this car in the Indian market is Rs 10.70-19.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It comes in Sigma, Delta, Zeta, Zeta+, Alpha, and Alpha+ trims. Along with this, the option of a strong hybrid powertrain is also available in Zeta Plus and Alpha Plus. The option of CNG kit is also available in Delta and Zeta variants.

The reason for this car being sold more is that its mileage is quite strong. With a strong hybrid powertrain, it gives a mileage of 27.97kmpl. Whereas its CNG variant gives a mileage of up to 26.6 kilometers per kilogram. It also has 1.5-liter petrol mild-hybrid (103PS), 1.5-litre petrol strong-hybrid (116PS), and 1.5-litre petrol-CNG (87.83PS) options. The option of 5-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox is also available with the mild-hybrid engine.
 
Only the E-CVT gearbox is also available with its strong hybrid engine. In CNG, it also has a 5-speed manual gearbox. The option of all-wheel drive is also available in it.
