Chris Pratt Credits Door-to-Door Sales Job for Preparing Him for Hollywood

Chris Pratt, the Hollywood actor best known for his roles in blockbuster movies such as Jurassic World, has revealed that his previous job as a door-to-door salesman helped prepare him for his career in the entertainment industry. The 43-year-old star said that his experience in sales taught him to handle rejection and criticism, which has helped him to cope with the cut-throat world of Hollywood.
In an interview with PageSix, Chris explained that he learned to deal with rejection while working as a door-to-door salesman 25 years ago. He compared himself to a rhinoceros, saying that he had developed thick skin and was able to stick his horn up anyone's "a**" if they got in his way.
He went on to explain that his sales experience was not dissimilar to acting or auditioning, as both required the ability to handle rejection. He said that auditions were all about collecting "no's" in order to get a "yes".
