The Maruti Dzire, which belongs to the compact sedan segment as well as the SUV segment, is very popular in the Indian market. Assuming you are in the process of purchasing this sedan's CNG variant from the manufacturer, how much EMI will you pay per month once you have paid a down payment of ₹2 lakh?

Maruti is providing the VXI as the CNG model of the Dzire. The company is selling the entry-level version of this compact sedan vehicle at an ex-showroom price of ₹8.03 lakh. If booked in Delhi, the price for ex-showroom will be ₹8.03 lakh, along with registration tax and RTO charges. The car will cost around ₹75,000 for RTO and ₹30,000 for insurance. After this, the on-road price of the car in Delhi is ₹9.09 lakh.

If you purchase the Maruti Dzire's CNG variant, the VXI, the bank will finance the ex-showroom price. After making a down payment of ₹2 lakh, you'll need to finance approximately ₹7.09 lakh from the bank. If the bank gives you ₹7.09 lakh for seven years at 9% interest, you'll have to pay an EMI of just ₹11,412 per month for the next seven years.

If you take a car loan of Rs 7.09 lakh from a bank for seven years at an interest rate of 9%, you will have to pay an EMI of Rs 11,412 every month for seven years. In this case, you will pay around Rs 2.49 lakh as interest for the VXI CNG variant of the Maruti Dzire in seven years. After which, the total price of your car, including ex-showroom, on-road, and interest, will be around Rs 11.58 lakh.

The new generation Dzire is brought by Maruti in the compact sedan car segment. In this segment, it competes directly with compact sedan cars like the Hyundai Aura, Honda Amaze, and Tata Tigor. Apart from this, it also faces competition in terms of price from some premium hatchback cars and compact SUVs.
