Bihar MLA out of Paris Olympics had participated in this event

Indian players have performed brilliantly so far in the Olympic Games being played in Paris, the capital of France. On the one hand, women shooters Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh have brought laurels to the country by winning bronze medals. On the other hand, Bihar MLA Shreyasi Singh has been disappointed and she has not been able to do anything special in her event shotgun trap.

In shooting, Shreyasi Singh has been eliminated after losing in the qualification round of the women's trap event. She finished 23rd with 113 points. Shreyasi hit 22 shots in the first round, 22 in the second, 24 in the third, 22 in the fourth, and 23 shots in the fifth round.

Let us tell you that Shreyasi Singh won the silver medal in trap in the Commonwealth Championship 2010. Apart from this, she also won the silver medal in double trap in the Commonwealth Championship 2017. Shreyasi Singh was successful in winning gold in double trap in the Commonwealth Games 2018. She won the bronze medal in the double trap team at the Asian Games 2014.

Shreyasi is an MLA from Jamui Assembly of Bihar on a BJP ticket. Shreyasi defeated RJD's Vijay Prakash by about 41 thousand votes in the 2020 assembly elections. Shreyasi is the daughter of Digvijay Singh, a veteran leader of Bihar, who was a former MP. Shreyasi's mother Putul Singh has also been an MP from Banka's seat.
