Betting business in Jaipur with online gaming app: IPL betting was being done in hotel room

An online gaming app is running a betting business in Jaipur. Jalupura police station has arrested six bookies for betting IPL in a hotel room. The police have recovered betting accounts worth lakhs of rupees and a huge amount of betting accessories from the possession of the accused. At present, the arrested accused are being interrogated.
DCP (North) Rashi Dogar Dudi said that information was received from the informer on Monday evening that betting on IPL matches was being done at Hotel V-INN located on Station Road opposite Sindhicamp. The police team raided the hotel for information. In the room located on the second floor of the hotel, some people were found doing online betting business on IPL matches.
The police laid siege and found the accused Ravi Kumar Sindhi (28) and Tarun Kumar Sindhi residents of Housing Board Colony Kotwali Sawai Madhopur and Sumit Ravani (23), Hemant Ravani (23), Ravi Giri (33) and Devendra Chandwani (36) residents Arrested old Bapu Nagar Pratap Nagar Bhilwara. The police have recovered speculative accounts worth lakhs of rupees, 2 laptops, 3 tablets, 40 mobiles, 3 dogs, 37 mobile chargers, and six and a half thousand cash from the hotel room.
