Customer Cashload is now helping customers exchange high-denomination notes for digital transactions through Amazon Pay's doorstep service. The Reserve Bank had announced the withdrawal of the Rs 2000 note. RBI had said that till September 30, citizens can exchange these notes or deposit them in their bank accounts.

For the convenience of the customers, now the online shopping giant Amazon has started a new initiative. Customers can now use Rs 2,000 notes to top up their Amazon Pay balance during cash-on-delivery orders.
Amazon said customers can deposit up to Rs 50,000 in cash every month, including Rs 2,000 notes. Amazon Pay's doorstep service will collect cash from customers and add it to their Amazon Pay balance.

Let us tell you that on May 19, the RBI issued an order saying that now Rs 2,000 notes held by people can be deposited in bank accounts or exchanged till September 30.
Under Amazon Pay's 'Cash Load at Doorstep' service, KYC-enabled customers can hand over spare cash or spare change to the delivery agent for loading into their Amazon Pay balance during cash-on-delivery orders.
To avail of this facility, customers need to complete video KYC on the Amazon app, which takes approximately 5-10 minutes, and during their next cash-on-delivery order, they can simply hand over the currency notes to the delivery agent. Immediately after this, the updated balance will start reflecting in the customer's Amazon Pay balance.
Customers can pay by scanning any QR code in stores, sending money to any phone number/person, or paying on their favorite online apps, all with the 24x7 convenience and security of Amazon Pay.
