Ajmer Police have also taken into custody the brother-in-law, husband, and wife who cheated two and a half crores by making people invest in terms of VC. The case is from the Clock Tower police station area, in which on filing a case, the police took swift action and took into custody the three accused.

Police official in charge Virendra Singh Shekhawat reported that complainant Mohan Banjara lodged a complaint that a VC scheme had been floated in 2022 by a local from his area, Kamlesh Banjara. There was a stipulation in that VC scheme that a sum of money amounting to Rs 4000 had to be paid on a regular basis by each member. There were 100 to 150 members in that VC scheme, who paid money on a regular basis. The VC scheme had a time limit of 2024, but even after that deadline, no investor received a refund.

After continuous evasion, when the investors asked for the money from Kamlesh, he postponed the matter by giving assurance. A few days ago he absconded and his phone also got switched off. When the troubled investors went to his house and inquired, the family refused to return the money. After this, all the investors complained to the police station, based on which a case was registered and an investigation was started.

In view of the seriousness of the matter, a special team was formed under the direction of Superintendent of Police Vandita Rana. On the basis of thorough investigation and information gathering, the team arrested the main accused Kamlesh Banjara, his wife Sapna, and his brother Kuldeep. All three accused are residents of Banjara Basti Topada of the Clock Tower police station area of ​​Ajmer district.

A special team was formed under the direction of District Superintendent of Police Vandita Rana to catch the accused, which included Additional Superintendent of Police City Himanshu Jangid, Circle Officer Om Prakash Sarawag, Police Station Officer Virendra Singh Shekhawat, SI Bharat Singh, Constable Ballabhram and Constable Manju. Police said that the case is being investigated thoroughly and strict action will be taken against the accused.
