Sheena Chohan, a talented actress who has previously appeared in The Fame Game and City of Dreams, is set to star in a new comedy-drama series called "Ex-Mates". The show follows Sheena's character, Shreya Prasad, a high-energy, successful executive who finds herself stuck in a relationship with a lazy and unambitious ex-boyfriend. As she navigates his mess and strange behavior, she must learn to keep her own goals in focus.

The visually stunning series, co-written and directed by Vibhav Ameta, delivers a powerful message about the importance of pursuing your own goals while learning to live with the peculiarities of others. The show features a talented cast, including Sagar Veen and Vinay Vinar.

Sheena is thrilled about her upcoming performance in "Ex-Mates" on Humara Movies. She shared that playing Shreya was a lot of fun, and she enjoyed immersing herself in the character's comedy after conducting her usual research to understand her motivations. She believes that Shreya's character represents many young Indian women who have the intelligence and energy to succeed but are held back by certain obstacles.

In addition to her acting career, Sheena serves as the South Asia Ambassador for United for Human Rights, a non-governmental organization that campaigns for basic human rights and equality. She has collaborated with artists like Sonakshi Sinha, Preety Zinta, and Raveena Tandon to spread awareness about human rights to over one hundred million people in India. In recognition of her efforts, Sheena received the Human Rights Hero Award at the United Nations in New York.

Sheena's versatile acting skills have earned her numerous lead roles in films, including those directed by National Award-winning directors. She made her acting debut opposite Malayalam megastar Mammootty and was nominated for Best Actress for her performance in Mustafa Farooki's "Ant Story," which was later acquired by Netflix. She will also be seen next in Disney+Hotstar's "The Good Wife," starring alongside Kajol.
