Accused in the Kolkata doctor murder case will undergo a polygraph test, CBI gets permission from the court
Kolkata Doctor Case: A Kolkata court has allowed the CBI to conduct a polygraph test on Sanjay Roy. According to CBI sources, permission has been granted by the court to conduct a polygraph test of the accused Sanjay Roy. The CBI will soon decide when the test will be conducted. The CBI will also ask some questions to Sanjay Roy in this Kolkata murder case.



The Kolkata trainee doctor murder case is gaining steam. A Kolkata court has allowed the CBI to conduct a polygraph test of Sanjay Roy, accused of raping and killing a trainee at state-run RG Kar Medical College and Hospital. Sanjay Roy is a civilian volunteer who has been connected with the Kolkata Police. The Test is likely to be conducted by the CBI soon.
It is a lie-detector test that serves to determine whether the criminal in question has been telling lies. The CBI filed a plea before the magistrate in Sealdah Court. In case of such a test, it is carried out by some team from CFSL over the CBI doctors. In this Kolkata murder case, the CBI will also question Sanjay Rai.
A female trainee doctor was raped and murdered while on duty at Kolkata's RG Kar Medical College and Hospital. The body of the female doctor was found inside the seminar room of the hospital on August 9. A civilian volunteer of Kolkata Police, Sanjay Rai, was arrested the next day for his alleged involvement in the crime. On August 13, the Calcutta High Court ordered the investigation of the case to be handed over to the CBI. CBI started its investigation on August 14.
