Tata Motors created a new record, filed the most patents in FY24
The domestic auto giant claimed to have filed 222 patents and 117 design applications during FY24. Tata Motors also said that it has received permission for 333 patents during this period, which is the highest so far. At present the company has a total of 850 such patents which have received permission.

According to reports, the business has filed an unprecedented number of patents to safeguard its innovations. According to the domestic auto giant, in FY24, 222 patents and 117 design applications were filed.
Tata Motors has also stated that, in the same time frame, it was granted permission for 333 patents, the greatest number to date. Currently, the company has permission for 850 of these patents.
According to a press release issued by Tata Motors, the patents and design applications filed span the spectrum of processes and innovations. It focuses on automotive trends like Connectivity, Electrification, Sustainability, and Safety (CESS).
